Pune's 1st Corporate Style B-School

FUEL Business School (FBS), founded in 2007 by the non-profit organisation FUEL (Friends Union for Energising Lives), is an AICTE-approved management institute affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

FBS stands out as one of Pune's socially-conscious B-schools, blending academic excellence with a commitment to national development goals.

The institute has prestigious collaborations with NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission, Ashoka University, the University of Cambridge (UK), and NSDC Skill India — giving students access to nationally and globally benchmarked curriculum inputs.

FBS offers MBA and PGDM programmes across Marketing, Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Business Analytics. The institute reported a 90% placement rate in 2024–25, with all 30 registered PGDM students successfully placed. FUEL's campus at Bhugaon provides a focused learning environment while remaining well-connected to Pune city.

Eligibility & Entrance Exams

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories) from an AICTE/UGC recognized university under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 system.
  • Final-year students may apply provisionally.
  • Accepted exams: CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, and FUEL's own F-MAST (FUEL Management Aptitude and Standardized Test). PGDM approved intake: 120 seats.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Merit Scholarship

  • FBS offers merit-based scholarships for students with strong academic performance in 12th and graduation.
  • Additional scholarships are linked to entrance exam scores (CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc.). Need-based and diversity scholarships are also available.
  • Scholarship renewal is subject to maintaining academic performance, satisfactory attendance, and no disciplinary violations throughout the programme

Entrance exam score scholarships

  • Graduation with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university (45% for reserved categories).
  • Accepted exams: MAH MBA CET (primary), CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA.
  • MAHCET 2024 cutoff: 94-99.1 percentile (AI/EWS category). Applications accepted online at admission.indiraiimp.edu.in.
  • Scores above 60%ile in CAT/XAT, INR 50,000
  • Scores above 90%le in MATATA/CET-INR 25,000

Special Scholarship

  • Children of Armed/Police Forces Applicants - INR 25,000
  • Students with domicile in North East, Kerala and Jammu & Kashmir- INR 25,000
  • Graduates from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-INR 25,000
  • Siblings Scholarships - INR 25,000
  • For representation at the state/national/international level sports-INR 10,000 exemption in tuition fee.

PLACEMENT

ADMISSION PROCESS

  • Register at fuelbschool.com and apply online.
  • Pay INR 1,000 application fee.
  • Shortlisting based on valid entrance exam score (CAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/GMAT/F-MAST) and academic merit.
  • Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and Written Ability Test (online or on-campus).
  • Final merit list based on weightage: Entrance Exam 40%, Academics 30%, GD/PI 20%, Work Experience/Extra-curriculars 10%.
  • Accept offer, pay course fees, and submit documents for verification.

ACCOMODATION
